One idea at this stage is to purchase a modest property so that the centre activities might continue, at the same time allowing the property market to adjust itself to the downturn which most people are expecting.

The Golden Buddha Centre project began in 1998. Its particular aim is to help the growing number of Buddhists who are looking to live a Buddhist way of life in retirement.
The centre is open to all age groups, and offers the opportunity to meet like-minded people and hosts a variety of Buddhist talks and meditations.

Weekly Tuesday evening Theravada group 
Weekly Tuesday evening (7pm-9pm) meetings comprising talks and meditations based on the Theravadan Buddhist tradition with Mahesi Caplan or Suvaco Bhikkhu. Suitable for newcomers to Buddhism. |
